Yoga and Naturopathy for Menopausal Syndrome

Menopause marks the end of a woman’s fertility. A woman is born with a finite number of eggs, which are stored in the ovaries. The ovaries also make the hormones estrogen and progesterone, which control menstruation and ovulation. Menopause happens when the ovaries no longer release an egg every month and menstruation stops. Menopause is defined as the absence of menstrual periods for 12 months. The age at which a woman starts having menstrual periods is not related to the age of menopause onset.
