Yoga and Naturopathy for Menstrual Disorder

Menstrual cycle is of around 28 days. If it is happening before, after or little, excessive or prolongs bleeding then it is considered menstrual disorder.   


Improve your diet habit and life style. Observe abstention during menses. Prevent constipation with proper care. Practice yoga to prevent the disorder.  Go for morning walk and breathe deeply while walking. 

Yogic Kriya: Kunjal, Neti, Shankha Prakshalana, Enema etc.

Asana: Suryanamaskara, Vajrasana, Titliasana, Yogmudrasana, Ardhmatsyendrasana, Konasana, Bhujangasana, Salabhasana, Shashankasana, Dhanurasana, Sarvangasana, Halasana, Savasana etc.

Pranayama: Om chanting, Bhastrika, Kapalbhati, Bahiya, Anulom Vilom, Nadi Sodhan, Bhramari etc.

Bandha: Mul Bandha, Uddiyanbandha etc.

Meditation: Practice 20 min of meditation daily.

Diet Therapy:

Observe juice fasting with pomegranate juice, cabbage juice, beet root juice, raw bitter guard juice, raw coconut water, barley water, coriander water, butter milk etc in sufficient quantity.  After fasting, have fresh and uncooked food in more quantity viz. fruits, vegetables, salad, sprouted etc. 

Take boiled vegetables with little salt and black pepper.

 Avoid unhealthy food viz. fried food, fast food, tinned and readymade food, tea, coffee, maida, sugar, cake etc.

Naturopathy: Mud Pack, Enema, Hip Bath etc.

Some more tips to follow:

  1. Take Amla and Aloe Vera juice with honey on empty stomach.
  2. Soak 5 almonds and 5-10 raisins at night and take it with milk in the morning.

2.         Soak 1 spoonful of fenugreek seeds (methi) and boil it in a glass of water to ¼ of it. Strain it and take it with honey.

3.         Mix one spoonful of basil juice with same amount of honey and add some black pepper. Take it twice a day for 2 months.

4.         Take 2-4 dry peepal tree fruits daily.

5.         Boil coriander seeds and drink it regularly for a month.

6.         Boil ginger in water and take it regularly for a month.

7.         Take Triphala powder with turmeric powder.
