Yoga and Naturopathy for Anemia

Anemia is a condition of decrease in the total amount
of red blood cells (RBCS) or hemoglobin in the blood,
or a lowered ability of the blood to carry oxygen.
Hemoglobin (HB or HGB) is a protein in red blood cells
that carries oxygen throughout the body.

Common Symptoms: Fatigue and loss of energy,
Unusually rapid heart beat, particularly with exercise,
Shortness of breath and headache, particularly with
exercise, Difficulty in concentrating, Dizziness, Pale
skin, Leg cramps, Insomnia etc.
TREATMENT
Yogic Kriya: Take mud pack on abdomen for 20
minute and then take enema. After enema practice
Kunjal Kriya. Do kunjal everyday for one week and
thereafter once in a week.
Asana: Surya namaskar for 5-10 sets.
Pranayama: Deep Breathing, Kapalbhati and Anulom
Vilom etc.
Bandha and Mudra: Gyan Mudra or Pran Mudra.
Tribandh is very useful as it improves the efficiency
of vital organs.
Diet Therapy:
• Consume spinach juice with honey, raw banana
with honey, pomegranate juice, carrot juice,
grapes, orange, sweet lemon, guava, banana,
apple, tomato, beet root and cabbage etc.
• Consume green leafy vegetables i.e. spinach,
mint etc.
• Consume dates, black raisins and methi.

• Take wheat grass juice.
• Take 3 morgosa leaves daily.
Naturopathy: Sun bath, Hot & cold fomentation on the
belly followed by chema.
