Yoga and Naturopathy for Colitis

Colitis is an inflammation of the colon. Colitis may be
acute and self-limited or long-term. It broadly fits into
the category of digestive diseases.
TREATMENT
Yogic Kriya: Practice half sankha prakshalan daily
at least for one month. Practice Kunjal after enema
everyday for 3 days and once in a week there after.
Asana: Vajrasana, Paschimotasana, salabhasana,
Bhujangasana and Dhanurasana etc.
Pranayama: Practice Anulom Vilom, Deep breathing
(Bhastrika).
Bandh & Mudra: Uddiyanbandh, Mulbandh, Apan Mudra.
Diet Therapy: Keep fasting on water and juices of
carrot, cabbage and papaya for some days. Citrus
juices should be avoided. Take wheat grass juice.
Naturopathy: Take Hip bath. Drink green bottle water
processed in sun rays. Take abdominal mud pack and
enema of butter milk.
