Yoga and Naturopathy for Inflammation of Nerves (Neuritis)

Neuritis is the medical term for nerve inflammation. If
a group of nerves are inflamed then the appropriate
word is polyneuritis. Peripheral neuritis, vestibular
and optic neuritis are the basic types of neuritis.
Damage can occur to nerves in your brain or spinal
cord or peripheral nerve or autonomic nerve. It may
happen due to infection, injury, compression or due to
autoimmune disease.
TREATMENT
Asana: Tadasana, Ardha Chandrasana, Padhastasana,
Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana, Uttanpadasana, Setu
Bandhasana, Pawanmuktasana, Markatasana,
Halasana, Matsyasana, Sirsasana etc.
Pranayama: Om Chanting, Deep Breathing, Kapalbhati,
Anulom Vilom, Nadi Sodhan, Bahiya, Bhramari etc.
Mudra: Gyana mudra, Prana mudra.
Meditation: Practice meditation daily with autosuggestion
of healing and visualize yourself being
healed.
Diet Therapy:
Fast on carrot juice, beetroot juice, apple juice,
pineapple juice, orange juice etc. followed by fruits/

salad /vegetable for few days. Avoid taking tea, coffee,
maida, refined, sugar, tinned food products. Take
Soybean milk daily. Use saline water to bath.
Naturopathy:
Take mud pack on abdomen, enema, mud pack on
affected area, spinal bath, hip bath, stiz bath.
