Yoga and Naturopathy for Throat Diseases

Yogic Kriyas: Practice Jal Neti, Sutra Neti daily. Do
neck & throat exercises.
Yogasana: Surya Namaskara, Viparitkarani,
Sarvangasana, Halasana, Matsyasana, Bhujangasana,
Ustrasana, Simhasana etc.
Bandha and Mudra: Jalandhar Bandh.
Pranayama: Ujjai Pranayama, Anulom Vilom, Nadi
Sodhan, Bhramari etc.
Diet Therapy & Naturopathy:
Fast on lukewarm water followed by juices. Have fruits
viz. pineapple, apple, papaya, figs, grapes, fenugreek
and garlic etc. Grapes improve the quality of sound.
If the throat is chocked, lick basil leaves and garlic
juice with honey. It is useful if throat is aching due to
too much talk. Gargling with water boiled with dry figs
is also helpful in this case.

Gargle with salty lukewarm water with lemon juice if
the voice is hoarse and there is swelling in throat.
