Classical Hatha Yoga


The word “Hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful,” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) pingla and “moon” (tha) ida, the yoga of balance.

Hatha is considered a gentle yoga practice that focuses on static poses with breathing coordination. It is great for beginners as well as advanced practitioners. Even though it is gentle, it is still physically and mentally challenging to the practitioner as they progress ahead, it will program the body, mind, and emotion in the process. It helps in aligning the human system with the cosmic mechanism in a phenomenal way so that the practitioner can receive and hold the cosmic energy better.
